Human Target(2010-2011) – Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows

At 5th spot, we chose Human Target(2010-2011) in our list of Top 5 Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows.

Christopher Chance is not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill security guard. He’s the man hired when all else fails and normal means of protection are simply not enough. His mission is to protect his clients at all costs — and to do so, he becomes, in effect, a human target until the threat has been eliminated.

With the help of his business partner, Winston, and hired gun Guerrero, Chance races against time to save his client and unravel the truth behind each job they take on. And with each mission a little more of Chance’s own dark history is revealed.

Human Target is a show that has good acting and a good story line. It has enough action to be a movie, and that makes the show a keeper. I’m not sure what it takes to keep a show like this on the air, but it has been one of my favorite TV series ever.

Christopher Chance, the main character, was a professional assassin, and is now a bodyguard for hire. The past of the team is used to easily write new episodes, and keeps the show from exhausting ideas for story lines. Like other reviews have said, Christopher Chance is a great mix between James Bond and Jason Bourne. This movie is not 100% action though. Human Target also has comedy and some romance intertwined.

What Remains (2013) – Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows

At 4th spot, we chose What Remains(2013) in our list of Top 5 Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows.

When a new couple – Michael and his pregnant partner, Vidya – move into a flat, they make a gruesome discovery thanks to a leak in the loft. The leak leads them to discover the remains of Melissa Young, a woman who had not been seen for more than two years, in the eaves. Despite seemingly disappearing, Melissa had not been registered as missing and no one had noticed that she was gone.

Detective Inspector Len Harper, who is scheduled to retire in a week, is assigned to the case and makes it his mission to uncover the secrets of Melissa’s neighbors and not let her death remain unanswered. This whodunnit reveals the story of each flat in the building, and each resident living there has some connection to the victim, ranging from bullying and harassing her to simply ignoring her.

All the characters are on the edge an edge we are forced to be on the whole time. Even the end of the final episode is frightening and with a shiver that stays with you.

The back story for me was- I was recalling a performance by an actress in a Midsomer Murder episode -“Garden of Death” and wondering what this actress who had so creeped me out and drawn me in simultaneously had been performing in since then. So I looked up the cast on IMBD and found her name is Victoria Hamilton and so I found this other TV series What Remains and jackpot there she was doing that kind of delivery that makes you want to slap her! She’s excellent but the entire cast is great like only British ensembles can be.

Extrapolations(2023) – Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows

At 3rd spot, we chose Extrapolations(2023) in our list of Top 5 Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows.

In the near future, the effects of climate change have become embedded into people’s everyday lives; eight interwoven stories explore the intimate, life-changing choices that must be made when the planet is changing faster than the population.

Extrapolations is a new Apple TV+ anthology series that explores the effects of climate change on our world. The series is told through eight interconnected stories, each of which focuses on a different aspect of climate change and its impact on people’s lives.

The series is beautifully shot and features a star-studded cast, including Meryl Streep, Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs, and Tahar Rahim. The stories are all well-written and thought-provoking, and they offer a unique perspective on the challenges we face as a planet.

One of the things that makes Extrapolations so special is that it doesn’t offer easy answers. The series doesn’t tell us what to do about climate change, but it does challenge us to think about the choices we make and the impact they have on the planet.

If you’re looking for a thought-provoking and visually stunning series that will make you think about climate change, then I highly recommend Extrapolations. It’s a must-watch for anyone who cares about the future of our planet.

Here are some of the things that I liked about the series:

The acting is superb. The cast is full of talented actors who bring their characters to life.
The stories are well-written and thought-provoking. They offer a unique perspective on the challenges we face as a planet.
The series is visually stunning. The cinematography is beautiful and the locations are breathtaking.

Overall, I highly recommend Extrapolations. It’s a must-watch for anyone who cares about the future of our planet

Obsession(2023) – Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows

At 2nd spot, we chose Obsession(2023) in our list of Top 5 Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows.

A respected London surgeon’s affair with his son’s fiancée turns into an erotic infatuation that threatens to change their lives forever.

I think the series does a good theatrical portrayal of the lingering issues and related effects of childhood incest and adult infidelity. Thought provoking of things that people would rather not talk about in real life or see characterized on screen. Look beyond the acting and script and see where it takes your mind and thoughts.

This was such a good mini series, you can watch it in one sitting. Intriguing, the story flows very well and the sex scene is just dope.
Don’t let the negative feedback make you not watch it, trust me it’s a good film.

1. Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love(1996)

Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love(1996) – Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows

Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love(1996) tops the list in our Top 5 Best Indira Varma Movies and TV Shows.

In 16th-century India, Princess Tara (Sarita Choudhury) is raised alongside her maid Maya (Indira Varma). The two best friends turn into enemies when Tara becomes engaged to King Raj Singh (Naveen Andrews). Embittered by Tara’s sudden poor treatment of her, Maya sleeps with Raj on his wedding night and is expelled from the palace. With her mastery of sexual technique, Maya continues to entice Raj, who is too distracted by hedonistic pursuits to realize his kingdom is in danger.

You have to watch this movie with an open mind if you have no knowledge of Indian culture. I was a bit turned off (not sexually- just in general) by all of the sex and looking at young children. It’s soft porn. There’s also underage sex/prostitution. That’s frowned upon in my culture but seems to be okay in Indian culture.

I did however like the story and even cried on a lot of different parts. I wasn’t prepared to care deeply about the characters but I did. That proves that the story and acting came together very well.
